CTBR Staff Writer Published 04 January 2013

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a turnkey contract from Italian renewable power developer Enel for the 90MW Talinay Oriente project in Chile.

The wind power facility is located in the Limari province and will employ 30 V90-2.0MW and 15 V100-2.0MW turbines.

Scope of the contract includes supply, installation, civil and electrical works along with a three-year service and maintenance agreement under the active output management mode.

The project is expected to be commissioned by the end of March 2013.

The two companies had earlier signed a contract for the Valle de los Vientos project in Chile.
