REpower Systems secures 276MW of European turbine supply orders

REpower Systems, a subsidiary of Suzlon Group, has secured new orders worth about $387m to supply wind turbines across Europe.

As per the new orders, REpower will deliver about 276MW of wind turbines across Europe over a two month period.

The orders cover various orders secured between 11 February, 2012 and 15 April 2012 across Italy, France, Germany, Poland and the UK.

REpower's 3.4M104 and 3.2M114 turbine models, with 3.4MW and 3.2MW of rated power respectively, will be used German wind farms.

The company said other orders will feature wind turbines of the MM92 and MM82 types.
