CTBR Staff Writer Published 15 June 2016

Gamesa has secured a 7-year agreement with the Vapat Group for the provision of operating and maintaining wind turbines of 216 MW in Spain.

This marks the renewal of the operation and maintenance of this customer's G90-2.0 MW turbines, installed in several wind farms throughout Castile & León, which the company has been servicing since they were commissioned in 2010.

Gamesa's end-to-end proposition in the wind power industry is rounded out by its operations and maintenance area, which services over 400 customers for which it maintains some 8,100 MW in Spain and over 22,300 MW in another 35 countries.

The Vapat Group, presided by businessman Rafael González-Vallinas Delgado, currently operates some 472 MW of wind power capacity in Spain.
